The Zodiac LM2-40 replacement salt cell for 40,000 gallon pools features a clear housing so you can easily inspect the cell plates for cleaning. It is recommended to clean the cell with Cell Cleaner at least once per season, ideally once per 3 months of operation so the cell can continue to produce chlorine efficiently. Always clean the cell and check pool water for the correct salt levels of 4000ppm before replacing the cell. This cell lasts approximately 2-4 years.
