These Skimmer Socks slip over your skimmer basket and catch fine debris such as hair, pine needles, pollen and leaves before they have a chance to reach the filter so, your filter is not bogged down with this debris. For hot tubs, Skimmer Socks add to the filtration surface area, which reduces how often you need to clean your hot tub filter and it traps all small debris in the sock so you don’t have to spend as much time picking little bits of debris out of your hot tub filter when you clean it. For pools, Skimmer Socks capture pollen and pine needles, which cannot be captured by either the skimmer basket or your pool filter. Pine needles can get stuck in your pump and cause flow issues while pollen plays havoc with your pool’s water chemistry. Skimmer Socks give your pool the ability to trap and remove this debris before it becomes a problem.

How to Use Skimmer Socks:

1. Simply place the Skimmer Sock inside your skimmer basket and stretch the band over the outer rim of the basket. Each sock typically lasts 4-6 weeks.
