Description

This flow switch is for all Beachcomber Hot Tubs from 2003-2005, serial numbers beginning with D, E and F, that are equipped with a flow switch. You will see it in the clear plastic housing that water flows through close to the pump

Genuine Beachcomber Part, brand new direct from Beachcomber Hot Tubs. No knock offs or substitutions.

Installation Tips:

  1. Turn Off Power – Ensure safety by switching off the electrical breaker before working on the hot tub. Never perform maintenance while the system is powered.
  2. Close Knife Valve Handles – Secure all knife valves in the equipment area without applying excessive force, as this could damage the valves. Push them down until snug; slight water leakage is normal during this process.
  3. Disconnect the Flow Switch Wire – Carefully detach the flow switch wire from the hot tub circuit board and note its location for the new switch installation. Observe the switch’s orientation and take reference photos if necessary.
  4. Remove the Existing Flow Switch – Gently untwist and remove the flow switch. Expect some water to escape during this step, which is entirely normal.
  5. Install the New Flow Switch – Press the metal tab against the stick, ensuring it remains unbent while inserting. Thread the switch in until securely snug, then slightly untwist it to align with the original position. Use the small arrow on the flow switch to verify correct water flow direction.
  6. Reconnect and Restore Operation – Slowly open all knife valves without excessive force. Attach the flow switch cable to the circuit board, reinstall the black metal cover plate to protect it, and restore power. For added security, use a zip tie to manage excess cable and prevent potential snags.

These steps ensure a smooth and effective flow switch replacement, maintaining optimal hot tub functionality. Let me know if you need any refinements!
