The Schedule 40 Slip x Slip Coupling (SL x SL) is a reliable PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) fitting designed to securely join two sections of pipe in pools, hot tubs, spas, irrigation, plumbing, or drainage systems. With a smooth interior and durable construction, it ensures leak-free performance and easy solvent-weld installation. Ideal for connecting flex hose and rigid pipe in residential and light commercial use, this coupling is NSF-certified for potable water and built to withstand temperatures up to 140°F.
Always use P-70 Primer and PVC Glue 795 to ensure a watertight connection and prevent potential blowouts. The primer etches and scores the surfaces so the glue can fuse the 2 pieces together.
