BioGuard Scale Inhibitor is designed to prevent the build-up of scale due to high calcium levels and a high pH level. Its formulation is four times as strong as previous iterations and only requires a monthly application to gain the full benefit of the product. In addition to preventing scale formation, Scale Inhibitor has the bonus of also preventing copper, iron, and manganese staining.

How to Apply the Initial Treatment:

1. Clean or backwash your filter, and ensure the pump is running
2. Add 250mL of Scale Inhibitor for every 10,000L of pool water
3. Run the pump continuously for at least 48 hours

How to Apply the Maintenance Treatment:

1. A maintenance dose should be added once a month
2. Add 125mL of Scale Inhibitor for every 10,000L of pool water

How to Use for Removing Fresh Stains:

1. This works best if the metal stain is less than 5 days old
2. Add 250mL of Scale Inhibitor for every 10,000: of pool water
3. Apply directly into the pool around the stains
4. Brush the stained area daily for 3 days – 5 days

DO NOT APPLY SCALE INHIBITOR WHEN SWIMMERS ARE IN THE POOL
Wait 15 minutes after applying Scale Inhibitor to go swimming

Tips for Using Scale Inhibitor

• The Scale Inhibitor bottle has measuring marks on the side to make for easy application
• If you have a high calcium level in your water, Scale Inhibitor will prevent build-up
