Description

BioGuard Power Chlor is a granular chlorine sanitizer that can be used as a maintenance sanitizer or a powerful compound action chlorine shock. It is designed to be used with pools that have a sand filter and are dealing with algae. Sanitize the water with a powerful stabilized chlorine shock treatment that incorporates a clarifier to aid with clarity and an algaecide to kill and prevent further growth of algae.

How to Use Power Chlor to Maintain your chlorine levels:

1. Maintain chlorine levels 1ppm and 3ppm of chlorine
2. When you add Power Chlor to the pool for the first time, brush down your pool walls and floor with the pump running
3. Keep pump running for at least 4 hours after adding Power Chlor
4. For your first application of Power Chlor, add 120g of Power Chlor to the skimmer basket for every 10,000L of pool water
5. Add between 15g – 30g of Power Chlor to the skimmer basket for every 10,000L of pool water every other day depending on pool usage and chlorine levels

How to Use Power Chlor as a Shock:

1. Keep the pump running for at least 4 hours after adding Power Chlor
2. Add 120g of Power Chlor to the skimmer basket for every 10,000L of pool water
3. If the pool is cloudy or green, brush down your pool walls and floor 30 minutes after adding Power Chlor

DO NOT USE POWER CHLOR WHEN SWIMMERS ARE IN THE POOL
Wait for 15 minutes or until chlorine levels are below 6ppm before swimming

Tips for Using Power Chlor

• Power Chlor is specifically design for use with sand filters and will not work as intended if you have a cartridge filter
